This Dominican amber specimen contains a well-preserved mosquito (Culicidae) inclusion from the Miocene, about 20 million years ago. The fine details of the wings and body are visible, making it an excellent example of insect fossilization in amber from the Caribbean.
All pieces come with an info card with their locality.
