This authentic piece of Dominican Amber features not only a small clear mosquito, but multiple leaves and a twig! It should be noted that plants in Amber are much more rare than insects and Amber. Although we cannot determine the exact species of this leaf, it is frequently thought that leaves caught in Amber are produced by the same tree which produce the Amber, Himenea protera. This is extremely interesting on the scientific note and should be valued!
