This Dominican amber piece is an extraordinary fossil inclusion containing a swarm of ants along with two isopods, commonly known as pill bugs or woodlice. The ants appear to belong to the subfamily Formicinae, recognizable by their rounded gasters and lack of visible stingers, though a precise species identification would require expert study. The preservation offers a rare glimpse of interspecies interaction in the Miocene rainforests of Hispaniola, around 15 to 20 million years ago, making this piece highly valuable for both collectors and researchers.

All pieces come with an info card with their locality.
