Feathers may fall from flying creatures and land in amber, or some land-dwelling animals may drop them too. This collection highlights the best feathers in amber that we have found.

3) Very light, soft feather.

It appears to be too thin for flight. Possibly from a non-flying creature. Although it's impossible to say, we must ask: could it be from a dinosaur?

This feather looks to be a down feather, which is a non-flight feather, which means it was a ground dwelling animal and the feathers are primarily used for warmth. There is always the chance it is from a dinosaur, but that cannot be confirmed.
