All arthropods molt as they grow. These are the best molts we have found in amber so far.
5) Scorpion molt in amber.
Provenance: Burmese Amber (Myanmar)
Origin: Hukawng Valley, Kachin State, Myanmar
Age: ~98–100 million years
Geologic Period: Mid-Cretaceous
This scorpion molt shows the classic signs of molting: open in the middle, and translucent.

Open in abdomen and translucent, as most molts are. The stinger is well preserved.

A very large and clear spider molt. Museum-Grade preservation. Multiple clear appendages.
1) Scorpion molt with venom bubble in stinger.
Provenance: Burmese Amber (Myanmar)
Origin: Hukawng Valley, Kachin State, Myanmar
Age: ~98–100 million years
Geologic Period: Mid-Cretaceous
This molt is unusual because it captured a bubble inside the stinger.
