Roaches have existed for a long time. Here are the best roaches we have found in amber.


1) Roach with clear legs.

Provenance: Burmese Amber (Myanmar)

Origin: Hukawng Valley, Kachin State, Myanmar

Age: ~98–100 million years 

Geologic Period: Mid-Cretaceous


This roach displays great clarity. Legs and many body parts are clearly visible.
