All animals have heads. They come in all shapes and sizes. This collection highlights the best heads in amber that we have found.

Two large compound eyes that touch in the middle. Possibly a rare robber fly.
1) Clear adult fly.
Origin: Dominican Republic
Age: ~15–20 million years
Geologic Period: Miocene
Excellent wing display and veins. Possibly a male mosquito. All body parts shown well.
