This Burmese amber with large beetle inclusion preserves a fossil beetle encased in Cretaceous Burmese amber, with visible body structure that allows direct observation of its morphology. The specimen also shows the beetle trapped in a spider web, being consumed by a spider, along with a large leaf inclusion. Such complex inclusions are significant because they document predator–prey interaction and ecological relationships, providing insight into the diversity and behavior within Cretaceous forest ecosystems.
