This authentic piece of Amber from the Dominican Republic features a rare insect, the crane fly! This is actually the insect featured in Jurassic Park's famous scene with the mosquito that contains dinosaur blood. If you examine the piece from that movie and this piece you'll see it's the same insect! This crane fly has most of its legs removed due to the fact that the Amber often strips these flies of their legs. But nonetheless, it's body and its wings are still clear and immaculate.
